A: The programs are for those individuals who wish to take a serious scientific approach to managing their weight and ultimately their health and wellbeing. There are some variations in the programs so that you will have a choice as to what approach works best for you. It is a personalised approach with a great deal of support.

Q: Are we still able to consult with the team and visit the Clinic?

A: Absolutely. The site represents one aspect of our growth and the electronic management of an increasing data base is essential if we are to provide you with value, convenience and opportunity. This electronic approach will complement what we do in the Clinic. It means that with the development of the new site and software you should see an increase in benefits. Q: Does Optimumhms.com.au plan to sell the mailing list?

A: Absolutely not. The mailing list is only to be used for our team to communicate with you.

Q: If we fill out some of these health profiles online are they secure?

A: All the information we collect under a username and password is very secure and will be for your eyes only. This primarily applies to the Members and some of the profiles they will complete on line. Some large groups we work with do a great deal of on line data collection and again each individual will only see there data. This is a secure accessing system to the application that we use to collect the data.

Q: What about the surveys that are done on the site?

A: These surveys are not part of the membership benefits and they are not done within a data base. The FREE surveys are for your benefit only.

Q: How does the Membership work?

A: You have two choices for length of membership. The first is for a six month period and you pay for the six months. The second is for 12 months BUT you only pay for 10 months. That means you will get two months FREE. Payment for both periods is done online and you will receive reminders throughout your membership letting you know how long it will be before you rejoin. With either membership you will receive the full benefits for the time you are with us.

A: These are projects that we support. That support has been in a fund raising capacity, on a volunteer basis or we have a vested interest in the project. If you wish to make a donation to any of the projects or offer support then please use the link to get to the site of the project(s) that appeal to you and take it from there. We have found over the years that the real benefits are in the process of supporting these group(s).

Q: We notice there is a list of contributors on the site - What does this mean?

A: This means that some of the world leaders in the area of health, weight management, diet, exercise and management are all part of this site. They are happy to make a contribution. The benefit to the user of the site is that the invited contributors represent the most recent research, thinking and teaching in their area of expertise. They have all place their own link on the site so that you can go have a look at what these leaders are doing in their day job. We are delighted that such a group have joined us. You will also notice that they come from all points of the globe so it is truly an international group of experts.

Q: Does Optimumhms.com.au use Optifast in all its programs?

A: We use Optifast 800 and Optifast VLCD products in some of our programs. The way we use the product does depend on the history and evaluation we do with each individual before making any recommendation. We use the product in our medical based programs as well as in combination with normal food. There are many applications. The product is also available through the shop so it can be used by individuals who are working with us electronically or live in far and remote locations. It may also be more convenient for individuals to access the product on line.

Q: Who can use the services provided by Optimumhms.com.au?

A: There is a range of people and businesses who use the services offered. It may be that individuals have a weight problem they need to manage. Some people are training for certain events and want to get specific advice and preparation. Some corporations are looking to improve their team function or the health and wellbeing of there employees. Some groups are looking for speakers for their next conference or to run their next training day. Some individuals are seeking answers as to why what they are doing, is not working. Some people are referred by their GP under the Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC). Some clients are Veterans while others are seeking a program for their sore neck. The list is quite extensive and varied with the common ingredient of each potential client being treated as a unique profile and seeking specific requirements.
